This boutique wellness facility – including steam room, yoga and exercise spaces – was created within a substantial heritage-listed property.
The main design challenge arose from our clients’ desire to sensitively introduce new, technically-driven functionality within the existing building fabric.
The intervention utilises undercroft areas around the building’s foundations, which are woven through the partially exposed basement, where access to natural light was limited.
The seamless finish and high level of refinement in the joinery and tiling details complement the craftsmanship of the existing building, while providing an entirely contemporary wellness experience.
