My role in the practice is to create and keep pushing our vision, and ensure everyone is along for the ride. I ensure that the studio engages in the right balance between thinking big and honing exact solutions through a process of rigorous refinement.

Architecture is a big social responsibility; a great result is one that continually enhances peoples’ lives. Buildings, their interior and exterior spaces should work harmoniously with their surrounding environment and bring a sense of joy to the end user and to the society they sit within.

Practicing architecture is just that, practicing – it involves constantly designing, testing, learning, designing again, and again and rigorously refining everything we do in this multi-faceted profession. The outcomes we produce are a product of this process and their quality reflect the depth and commitment to the journey.

The opportunity to design enables us to think about how things work. Everything should happen for a reason, if we start with this intention – anything is possible.
