The flagship store of Australian flooring brand Tongue N Groove reinvents the showroom experience with a playful display of engineered, solid European oak boards on the floor, walls and ceiling.

The interior design aligns with the brand’s ethos of providing quality craftsmanship and pushing the boundaries, by demonstrating the versatility of oak and suggesting endless design possibilities for architects, designers and consumers.

Timber panels float from the ceiling and interplay with strip LED lighting; a gradation of coloured tones climbs one wall in a diagonal pattern; various finished floor levels showcase the range of colours and patterns available; and timber battens mounted on stunning brass mirror inlays divide public and private rooms.

To encourage passing foot traffic to enter and explore, the entire shop front opens up with no visual obstructions, thereby actively engaging consumers at street-level.
